These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites and services operated by Creator Meetups UK Ltd (company number 15887094) and any other company in the Creator Meetups UK Ltd group (“Creator Meetups UK”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Creator Meetups UK LtdOur main website is creatormeetups.uk (and related domains we operate). We run in-person creator community events, including Creator South and Creator North, and related online services such as ticketing, contact forms, and promotional activities.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.
By accessing or using our website, purchasing or attempting to purchase tickets, registering for an event, submitting a form, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you:
If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.
You may use our website for lawful purposes connected with Creator Meetups UK events and community activities. You must not:
We may suspend or restrict access to the website if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or if necessary for security, maintenance, or legal reasons.
Tickets for our events are sold subject to availability. Prices, dates, venues, capacities, and event details are displayed on our website and may change before tickets go on sale or while sales are open. The contract for your ticket is formed when we confirm your purchase (for example by email and/or issuing a ticket), not merely when payment is initiated.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). Card processing is subject to their terms and security standards. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and attendee information at the time of purchase. If your details are incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at contact@creatormeetups.uk so we can try to assist before the event.
A ticket is personal to the named attendee where required and is valid only for the event, date, and venue stated on it. Admission is subject to venue rules, capacity, security checks, and event policies. We and/or the venue may refuse entry if a ticket is invalid, duplicated, transferred in breach of these Terms, or if the attendee does not meet age or conduct requirements.
We plan events carefully, but circumstances may require changes. We may alter event details (including venue, schedule, activities, or line-up), postpone, or cancel an event. If we cancel an event, we will contact ticket holders using the details provided at purchase and, unless otherwise stated at the time of sale, offer a refund or alternative remedy in line with applicable consumer law. If an event is postponed, your ticket will normally remain valid for the rescheduled date unless we offer an alternative.
Unless we state otherwise at the point of purchase or required by law, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased. If you can no longer attend, you may contact us at contact@creatormeetups.uk; we cannot guarantee transfers or refunds but will consider requests at our discretion and where operationally possible.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer in the United Kingdom.
By attending an event you agree to:
We are committed to a welcoming, inclusive community. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, or conduct that puts others at risk is not tolerated and may result in removal from the venue without refund.
Photography, video, and live content may take place at events for promotion, community highlights, and sponsor reporting. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in such material unless we agree otherwise in writing or you notify staff of a reasonable objection on the day.
Some activities, food, drink, or facilities are provided by third-party venues or partners and are subject to their own rules and availability.
From time to time we run prize draws, competitions, or promotional campaigns. Each promotion may have its own terms (including eligibility, entry method, closing date, and prize details). Where separate promotion terms are published on our website, those terms apply in addition to these Terms for that promotion. In the event of conflict, the promotion-specific terms prevail for that promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, all content on our website and materials we produce (including logos, text, graphics, photographs, video, and event branding) are owned by or licensed to Creator Meetups UK Ltd. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution where appropriate. You must not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
If you submit content to us (for example messages, images, or suggestions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our events and marketing, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Our website may link to third-party sites (including social platforms, Discord, payment providers, and venue websites). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
We provide our website and events on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take reasonable care in organising events, we do not guarantee uninterrupted website access, error-free ticketing, or that every advertised activity, guest, or sponsor benefit will take place exactly as described.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions relating to our website and services.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss (including loss of profit, data, goodwill, or opportunity) arising from your use of the website or attendance at an event.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the website, or a ticket purchase shall be limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant ticket or, if the claim does not relate to a ticket, £100.
You are responsible for your own travel, accommodation, insurance, devices, and personal belongings when attending events.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creator Meetups UK Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers against reasonable claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful conduct at an event or on our website, except where caused by our negligence or breach.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using our services you acknowledge that you have read that policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies when you use the website. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the website or attendance at events after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also have rights under local law.
We hope to resolve concerns informally first. Please contact us at contact@creatormeetups.uk before starting formal proceedings where possible.
